After I finished my World Race in June of 2021, I had decided to commit to Team Leading, meaning I would be spending three months from September to December leading a group of girls doing their own World Race Gap Year.

Before beginning my journey as a team leader, I was wrestling with different opportunities for the spring of 2022. The 10/40 Middle East trip came up as an opportunity for Alumni World Racers and as soon as I heard it, I knew the Lord was pulling my heart to go there.

The term 10/40 refers to the region of the world in the eastern hemisphere as well as European and African parts of the Western hemisphere that are located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator.

They are defined by countries with the most socioeconomic challenges, poverty, low quality of life combined with lack of access to resources and the gospel.

The 10/40 Middle East trip is a four month trip where we will be traveling to different countries bordering or around Syria. We will spend the first month in Gainesville, Georgia doing a training course and getting a traumatology certificate. This helps equip us with tools and cultural contextualization of the things we will see and face. The next three months I will be traveling to three different Middle Eastern countries, that are not being disclosed right now due to possible changes and safety.

Matthew 25:40 says, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me’”

It is a privilege and deep honor to have an opportunity to love and care and help God’s children who have been misplaced, improvised, mistreated or simply just living without the knowledge that their is a savior who loves and cares for them deeply.

I feel extremely blessed to be able to go on this mission trip and extend a helping hand in whatever way I can.

To be able to do all of this and continue sharing the love of Jesus with all of God’s people, I need your help in fundraising for this mission trip!

I need to fundraise a total of $8,900 to be able to launch to the Middle East. These costs cover all of my housing, food, travel and insurance.

I would feel so incredibly blessed if you could support me in any way possible, whether that be

  1. praying for me
  2. donating financially
  3. subscribing to my blog and partnering with me along the way.

If you feel lead to donate any amount at all, it is so deeply appreciated. I am taking one time donations as well as monthly donations and would love if you could pray about partnering with me in supporting my mission!

I deeply love and appreciate you all! If anyone has any follow up questions or would simply like to understand more of what I am doing or why I am doing it, I would love to set up a time to talk with you!
